On this December 28, 1945 Congress officially recognized the Pledge of Allegiance:
“I Pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.”
The original pledge was modified on June 14, 1954 (Flag day) to include the words "under God."

To our Loup City students, parents and community!

Loup City Public Schools wishes our students, staff, parents and community a wonderful Holiday Break!

Kindergarten ended the semester with some STEM building! Igloos, snow forts, and some detective work were part of today’s festivities. We also had a special visitor from the North Pole! We wrapped up the day with the PTO Sponsored Candy Cane Lane. Special thanks to Mike and Shirley King for your class donations!

Coaches Amy Hostetler of Loup City and AJ Johnson from Hartington Newcastle with Colleen Fulton and Sam Harms. Congrats on 3 years of excellence with trophies and medals.

To be the first FEMALE to ever win Outstanding Actress in Class 2 THREE time in the entire state of Nebraska is a record in state history. Winning three times has only been done once by Nick Bradley from Randolph in 1996, 1997, & 1998. This year Colleen & Sam Harms from Hartington-Newcastle both achieved that record.

Congratulations to the Red Raider Play Production!
