
After reading and comparing different versions of the folktale “Stone Soup”, the third graders made their own stone soup and homemade butter. All agreed that it was delicious!
We also did a little flashlight reading today!

The book fair starts next week, February 22 - 25! The books are set up, the volunteers are ready to work...now all we need are some readers to check out the awesome book selections. You'll love the wide variety of titles! The book fair will be located in the library confernce room and is open to anyone. Books make great gifts for children and grandchildren!

K-6 students, Keep Collecting Coins for the All For Books program. Bring your coins to school this week Thursday and Friday. All money donated will be used to purchase books for classroom libraries. Our Scholastic Book Fair will be February 22 - 25. We hope to see you there!



The ALC vs Centura JV/Varsity Boys Basketball games have been rescheduled for Thursday Feb. 18th at Loup City. JV at 5:45pm, Varsity at 7:15pm.

Unfortunately Loup City Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 16th due to dangerously low temps and wind chill.
Reminder, we will not have school on Wednesday to host the LouPlatte Conference Speech tournament, see you Thursday.
