Principal’s Message to Parents & Guardians

Dear Parents and Guardians,
What a wonderful week of learning, laughter, and community connections we have shared! As we continue to embrace our school’s annual theme, “Find Your Joy,” we are reminded that some of the most meaningful learning experiences happen when students can explore, discover, and make memories together. These special moments also reflect our district motto, “Empowering Continual Success,” as we work together to provide opportunities that help every child grow, learn, and thrive.
Here are a few highlights from our exciting week!
Tuesday was filled with excitement as our students enjoyed a wonderful field trip to the pumpkin patch! From exploring the patch to enjoying the seasonal activities and spending time with classmates, our students had so many opportunities to experience the joy of learning outside the classroom.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to both of our wonderful community pumpkin patches for welcoming our students and helping make this experience possible. We are grateful for the generosity, hospitality, and community spirit you shared with our school.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our PTO and all the parents and guardians who joined us and shared in this fun-filled day. Your time, support, and willingness to be part of these experiences help create lasting memories for our students. Your involvement truly helps us find our joy in learning together and empower continual success through strong school-family-community partnerships.
On Wednesday, our students had another exciting opportunity to learn beyond the classroom during our visit to the local firehall! In recognition of National Fire Safety Week, this field trip provided a valuable opportunity for students to learn about fire safety, the important work of firefighters, and the role our local volunteer fire department plays in keeping our community safe.
We are incredibly thankful to our volunteer fire department for taking the time to welcome our students, share their knowledge, and make fire safety learning engaging and memorable. Experiences like these help students build awareness, develop important life skills, and appreciate the people who serve our community.
Our students were able to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, reminding us that joy can be found in asking questions, discovering something new, and learning from the dedicated individuals around us. Thank you to our volunteer firefighters for helping us find our joy in discovery while empowering continual success through education, safety, and community service!
These two wonderful field trips remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and supportive community. Whether it is our community pumpkin patches opening their doors, our PTO and families volunteering their time, or our volunteer firefighters sharing their expertise, each contribution makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
When schools, families, and community members come together, we create opportunities for children to feel connected, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. These partnerships bring our theme, “Find Your Joy,” to life and demonstrate what “Empowering Continual Success” looks like in action.
As we continue through the school year, we encourage our students and families to keep finding joy in the little things: a new discovery, a shared laugh, a helping hand, or a moment spent learning together. Every experience provides an opportunity to grow, celebrate our accomplishments, and strengthen the connections that make our school community special.

Thank you to our PTO, our community pumpkin patches, our parent and guardian volunteers, and our volunteer fire department for helping make this week such a success. We are grateful for everyone who helps create meaningful experiences for our students.
Together, we will continue to find our joy in learning, celebrate the strength of our community, and empower continual success for every student, every day!
